Day One, Session 3 - Speaking and Pronunciation.

1. Tool 1 - Vocaroo

Vocaroo is an online voice recorder. It does not require a login to use it and saves audio for a limited period of time.
You can download the audio you make or send the link to someone else.

Your task:

Make a recording of yourself doing this exercise on sentence stress.

This is your model sentence: The penguin hit the robber over the head with a knitting needle.

Your task is to say the sentence as it is (don't change a thing) and respond to the questions below by emphasising the relevant part of the model sentence.

Example:

Did the kangaroo hit the robber over the head with a knitting needle?
The PENGUIN hit the robber over the head with a knitting needle.

Did the Penguin hit the zoo keeper over the head with a knitting needle?
Did the Penguin hit the robber on the nose with a knitting needle?
Did the penguin hit the robber over the head with buchty?
Did monkey slap the cleaner round with face with a kipper?

2. Click on "record" (you might get a prompt asking for permission to use your microphone. Click "allow".)

Option 1

6. Go to your blog and create a new post. Click the HTML button. Paste the link. Click on  "publish".

7. View the blog, make sure you click on the "play" button and not on the word Vocaroo in order to hear your recording.
